Hi Everyone!
In order to fulfill our goal of having an all-inclusive website, this blog page will soon become a re-direct page to our blog page on our website. We have temporarily been posting to both, but we ask that if you are subscribed to this blog you please go to http://www.anitagoodesignonline.com/?page_id=489 and subscribe there as well, as that is going to be the official blog page moving forward.
Thank you very much! Happy embroidering!

Hey everyone! It’s Laura! Last weekend, I had the pleasure of doing an Embroidery Event at Above and Beyond Sewing in Colorado with the newest member of our Events Team, Pat Gallini! We had such a fantastic time meeting everyone and seeing what wonderful creations some of our customers had come up with!
There was a chocolate fountain, which seems to be a staple at the shows these days, but I’m glad, because it was delicious!
Everyone enjoyed getting to see the latest and greatest samples, including the newest May release Special Edition, Garden Gate. We had such a great time stitching out all of our projects. The crowd favorite, by far, was the in-the-hoop zippered bag.
I really enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to know Pat at this event. I can’t wait to see you all next year!

We had a terrific time at the show in Nuttall’s in Salt Lake City, Utah! This was our first time back in four years, and it was a blast to see the staff and all of our loyal Anita Goodesign fans!
The ladies were so excited to see all seven of our Special Edition Collections. It was tough for them to choose which ones they wanted, so we made the choice a little bit easier by offering a buy two get one free special! This is something that we have been doing at all of our shows and events.
The Nuttalls Brothers, Eric and Chad, are fun, energetic, and keep the ladies happy! (Of course, I’m sure it helps that they’re both quite handsome).
The ladies really enjoyed the new techniques that Stephen showed them, learning how to do the Special Editions, and seeing all of the samples that we have accumulated over the past four years!
We experienced an odd weather pattern while we were there. When we arrived in Salt Lake, the sun was shining and it was a cool, but pleasant, 68 degrees outside. Saturday morning, about an hour into class, we looked out the window and the snow was coming
down! It was like a scene from the movie White Christmas! What a gorgeous view we had from the classroom window!
While we were celebrating the Easter theme, I caught a “candid” photo of Stephen playing the Easter Bunny! I’m sure you can tell by the expression on his face how thrilled he was to be caught on film!
All-in-all, we had a wonderful time visiting Nuttall’s after our long hiatus! When we left on Sunday morning, the weather delayed our flight while the plane de-iced and we missed our connection to Charlotte… But that was actually fortunate, because we got to enjoy and extra day off in Phoenix, AZ in the toasty 80 degree weather!
Can’t wait to see you all soon!
